1) Approval of Notes from October 18, 2006 Handout # 1
The notes were approved.
2) Quick Updates
Catalyst Features Committee: The committee would meet on Thursday’s at 3:00-4:30
3) Tech Plan Final Rough Draft
W. Chenoweth presented the final rough draft of the DA technology plan. The plan is posted on the Technology Task Force web site. The team reviewed the plan and D. Nickel noted the input from the team. It was agreed that there would be one more revision to the plan before it was shared with the campus.
4) Technology Task Force Charge Draft Handout #2
This item was deferred until the next meeting.
5) Student Services Request
Item deleted.
6) Web Content Management System (WCMS)
M. Kahn reported that a sub-group would be put together. He asked what basic selection criteria Technology Task Force would like to use to help narrow down choices that the sub-group would then research in-depth. The project would likely be started in January 2007.
There was a recommendtion that more research was needed on Manila before investigating other systems.
7) Required District Email Use
