    Guided Pathways Update

    Wanting a couple more people to help with break out rooms – note takers, etc. - for December 16th meeting

    Discussion focused on how Classified Professions fit in Guided Pathways model, to bring up where support is needed, to suggest optimal processes

    Padlets will be kept so that the responses will continue to be gathered into the new year, so that those on vacation won’t miss the conversation entirely

    Board priorities, DDAC to continue work with Dr. Joy DeGruy, retreat in January, book recommendation (see documents and links below), Christiana Kaleialii is official Classified Senate liaison

    SSPBT (David Kobata)

    Reviewed reflection questions for upcoming program review, revised, Follow up on CAS standards and how to apply them in SSPBT, (Marilyn Booye) – still need one position filled on committee

    IPBT (Lorna Maynard)

    Building common language, agreeing to same terms and same focus for process going forward, Christiana Kaleialii is now on IPBT

    Technology committee (Alex Harrell)

    Haven’t met in a while, tech survey close to 70 respondents, results hopefully ready in January

    ETAC (Dennis Shannakian)

    Did not meet in November due to Veteran's Day, scheduled to meet on the 9th of December

    Senate's last meeting was the day before Thanksgiving

    College Council (Scott Olsen)

    Vote on recording meetings did not pass, but observers are still welcome, talk of bringing in someone from CCCCS and California College League to talk about shared governance and our system as a consultant

    No updates for Board of Trustees, Chancellor’s Advisory Council

    Presentation timeline extended for senate structure proposals and constitution changes

    Those who have expressed interest should expect emails/invites ahead of meetings to be scheduled in January
