My name is Luis Alberto Carrillo, and I have been a Math Performance Success (MPS) program counselor since spring 2016. I completed my undergraduate studies at De Anza College (AA Degree in Transfer Studies) and San Francisco State University (BA Degree in International Relations). In 2015 I earned an MA from San Jose State University in Education Counseling, and now I have the great opportunity to contribute to the MPS Program and to help all students reach their academic and career goals. I am looking forward to being a part of your academic journey here at De Anza College.

My name is Yolanda Johnson and I have worked with students in different capacities for 17 years.  I have been at De Anza for 8 years and with MPS for the last year. I am a De Anza alumni, completing my A.A. in Liberal Arts and transferring to San Jose State University.  I completed my B.A. in Sociology and returned to SJSU a few years later to complete my M.A. in School Counseling.  As a former De Anza student I am happy to be working in a place that helped me accomplish my goals. I am excited to now be able to help students reach their academic and career goals.

Students who aren't in the MPS program can visit the general Counseling and Advising Center or a counselor within their division or program.
