The Foothill-De Anza Foundation, in concert with the De Anza College President’s Office, invited De Anza College faculty, staff and administrators to apply for Innovation Grants to fund projects implemented during the 2026-27 academic year.

Grants were available in amounts up to $2,500 to support new, entrepreneurial project ideas that advanced student equity, student retention or increased enrollment at De Anza College. Priority was given to projects that introduced innovative methods of delivering instruction or services, or team-building, in ways that reinforce student success, community engagement and a growth mindset.

Program Guidelines

Applicants submitted a project description, objectives and outcomes, budget, statement of need, implementation steps and timeline. Each proposal required acknowledgement from the applicant’s division dean, manager or supervisor and from the area vice president or associate vice president.

The program was intended to augment existing funds, not replace them. Travel expenses and salaries were not eligible for funding.
