Course Description

Integration of reading and writing skills necessary for success in EWRT 1A or EWRT 1AH. Emphasis on evaluation, analysis, synthesis, questioning, and critical inquiry of assigned readings and in essays in this course and in the target course, EWRT 1A or EWRT 1AH. Immersion in the reading and writing process with opportunities for just-in-time instruction on strategies and skills to succeed in transfer-level curriculum.

LART 250.16Q: This is a 3-unit corequisite course to EWRT 1A. Students enrolling in this section must also enroll in EWRT 1A.16Q (CRN 20643). Fully ONLINE. This is an online class that does not have scheduled meetings. Students can log in anytime to do the required weekly course work. Students must have access to a computer, the internet and an individual email address. We recommend a laptop or desktop computer to successfully complete the course; a tablet or phone may not be adequate for all assignments and tests.
