As an Auto Tech student at De Anza, you may be eligible to participate in one of our special training partnerships with leading automakers such as Audi, Nissan, Subaru, and Ford.

Auto manufacturers and dealers need skilled technicians. Through these partnerships, De Anza students can get training and hands-on experience that will make them valuable employees from their first day on the job.

De Anza's automaker partners provide donated vehicles, engines, tools and special training for instructors. Students also get access to self-paced, online tutorials based on the same training the automakers provide their own employees.

Depending on their progress, students may be considered for part-time employment, apprenticeships and, if hired full-time, financial incentives such as tuition reimbursement or credit for their De Anza training. Here are more details for each automaker program:

Audi Education Partnership

Nissan/Infiniti Technician Training Academy

  • Donated vehicles, scan tools, service information and vehicle parts
  • Access to Nissan’s online Virtual Academy
  • Part-time employment opportunities while in school

  • Donated vehicles and vehicle parts
  • Access to Ford's online Self Study Program web-based training. Web-based credit can be applied to training credit when hired at a Ford dealership
