Happy Summer!

The EOPS/CARE/GSP/NextUp Office at De Anza College supports students who are economically and educationally disadvantaged, including students who are single parents or have experience in foster care, to help them achieve their academic goals.

In addition to providing counseling, resources, and other forms of support, we are here to advocate for your success.

Fall Quarter Applications Are Now Open!

We are now accepting applications for the 2026 Fall Quarter.

PLEASE NOTE: You must complete our program orientation before receiving services such as priority registration. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that an orientation session will be available before Group 1 priority registration begins.

Important Key Dates for Summer 2026

June 29: First day of Summer Quarter.
July 3: Independence Day Holiday - Office Closed
August 3: Group 1 Registration Opens
September 3-7: Office Closure (Reopens September 8)
September 10: Office Closed for Division Retreat
September 14: Office Closed for Construction - Available Remotely
September 16: District Opening Day - Office Closed
September 17: College Opening Day - Office Closed

EOPS – Extended Opportunity Programs and Services

EOPS provides services such as counseling, priority registration, transfer support and in some cases financial grants to eligible students who are educationally or economically disadvantaged.

CARE provides additional services for eligible EOPS students who are single parents and receive cash aid public assistance.
